Animas River Days offers activities for kids too. Bring your family to Santa Rita Park on June 8th for these fun activities:
1. Durango Discovery Museum's Solar Roller - A mobile science discovery center that focuses on energy science literacy with hands on exhibits.
3. Kid's Bark Boat Race - Kids will race homemade bark boats in the channel below Whitewater Park, register at Frosty Pines Wilderness Program booth. Race is at 2:00 pm on Sunday, June 10th.
Durango Transit is offering bus service to Ska Brewing following the River Parade.
Kayakers negotiate gates suspended over the river.
Specialized kayaks and inflatables perform tricks in rough white water.
